OUR STORY

Founded in 2019 by Fidele Mutoni, a human rights advocate, Fondation Amani-Afya Africa (FAA) emerged in response to the challenges facing conflict-affected communities in eastern DRC. Guided by the values of peace (Amani), health (Afya), and human dignity, FAA works with communities to advance human rights, promote inclusion, empower women and young people, and build resilient, peaceful, and sustainable communities across Africa.
